A Radical Revival
Kickstarter has had some great successes as of late. Not a bad idea.
Still a long way from getting the show back, but it's good to see some progress being made.
Theres alot of shows that I would like to see come back because of eaily shutdowns that I really got into over the years. this one is definitly at the top of my list! best of luck!
Hrm. Is there any particular contact information that exists out there regarding this? I have written a stable of SWAT Kats episode scripts that would work for a pitch for a new series. On my end i would merely need complementary art (specifically for characters), and to build a bible for the first 13 episodes (bible isn't scripts, i would have scripts for the first four episodes, you just need workable ideas for another 9, which is easy, because a relaunched series could recycle many old episode concepts to introduce the old regular villains and potentially new ones) and then a pitch could be made to CN/WB. Contact with the Tremblay Bros would only assist that, for if the pitch could be made *through* them, they wouldn't have to do anything (fan-made scripts, fan-made art), but the pitch would avoid the hell that is "unsolicited manuscripts" that generally go straight in the trash.A pitch would in turn give producers over at CN/WB something to actually look at, rather than just telling them "remake this old series," it would be "here is what the new series could look like."The art is my stumbling block, as I am in no way an artist, and I am just graduating from college so I lack even the money to commission the small group of pictures that would be needed (namely character profile art, fairly basic stuff, since i've only made a handful of original villains for the first four episodes, the rest are all the characters we know and love).
@ Imperialist 2012Good job!
